PUDUCHERRY: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Puducherry on February 25 to lay foundation stones for government projects besides inaugurating a few, said Union parliamentary affairs minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, who is the BJP’s in-charge in the Union territory.
Modi will also be visiting Coimbatore later that day. Modi will land and10.30am in Puducherry and reach Jipmer at11.30am to launch projects. He will address a public meeting at Anglo-French Textiles grounds. Both events will last for around 45 minutes. Modi last visited Pondy in February 2018 to attend the golden jubilee celebrations of Auroville. “You will see how we develop Pondy when we come to power. Development and governance weren’t the focus of the Congress government here,” Meghwal said.
